FLEET MONITORING
Remote Monitoring – Video Recording – Status Monitoring – Reports
MOBILE DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER
Mobile Digital Video Recording is a technology that is beneficial for different fields. Its basic features include video recording and storing it on the SD/HDD. The user could later download the files on their PC and see the content that was stored on the hard disk. It is normally recorded as many videos of 30-sec. More advanced options include the possibility of sending the particular video file if a particular event happened (SOS button pushed, an accident detected, etc.), normally with a video of 10 sec before and 20 sec after the event took place.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT MDVR FOR YOU

The standard MDVR set consists of a dash camera, external power supply unit, conductors and fixing hardware set. It requires transmission of data through the cellular connection, it can help fleet owners with some insight on how their drivers behave, what exactly happened in the moment of accident, know the reasons for harsh braking or another dangerous behaviour of their drivers. It can also be a useful technology for stolen vehicle recovery.
In case of the buses, or other types of public transport it is mostly a protective measure for the driver against crime inside the vehicle and a tool to provide a proof in case some accidents have taken place.
Police uses MDVR for collecting evidence and proof of the legitimacy of their actions as well as for better coordination of the forces.
FEATURES
- Hard disk & SD card for main & mirror recording
- 6 x AHD+2 x IPC
- GPS and 3G/4G
- Live Tracking
- Live Camera View
- Remote Playback
- Evidence Center
- Geofencing
- A Wide variety of Reports

How do you know which MDVR to use? That is simply determined by the needs of the client. Whether it’s a typical eight camera set up for your Bus/ Coach or Truck, there is a host of solutions to cater for your needs.
MDVRs also have a range of recording capacities. From SD card systems to hard drive systems and solid-state drives.
Mobile Digital Video Recorders have optional extras such as 3G real time location and viewing. This allows you view live footage of your vehicle as well as its location. Many other features are included as extra when considering addons, such as; variety of cameras, DSM, ADAS, door sensor, people counter and other components, ensuring safety and
peace of mind.
PAIRING THE RIGHT CAMERA SYSTEMS

When accidents happen, the driver at fault may attempt to deflect the blame away from themselves and pin it on the innocent driver. A Dash Cam will provide you with video evidence reassurance of the truth in the event scenarios like this occur.
Dashcams record accidents, but they also create a stronger sense of accountability for any drivers who are aware of their presence on the road. Those who routinely practice unsafe driving techniques will have to confront their mistakes if they are caught on a Dash Cam.
Dashcams can serve an important purpose while a car is parked. These cameras can be set to turn on when motion is detected around your vehicle, recording attempted break-ins, vandalism, or hit and run incidents. This added benefit allows drivers to feel safer about leaving their vehicle unattended.
Dashcams help to keep our drivers safe, and in turn, helps foster productive behaviours within a fleet by creating a stronger sense of safety.

DSM AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT
Driver Status Monitor (DSM) is a kind of driving auxiliary warning system that is based on machine vision technology to detect driver abnormal driving status. It can help detect and alarm the following conditions, including fatigue, distraction, smoking and making a phone while driving.

Driver Fatigue warning systems are designed to detect the signs of driver fatigue by monitoring the facial expressions of the driver and sound an alert when fatigue is detected. It uses automotive-grade image sensors, which capture infrared images of people, and a high-speed digital signal processor for digital image processing and analysis. With its advanced non-contact mode and algorithms, it ensures that driver will be warned promptly when fatigue occurs to protect life and property.
Drivers normally aren’t aware that they are fatigued until the actual accident happens. One of the most important functions of the early warning system is to let the drivers understand they are actually in fatigue driving and increase their alertness level. Once the system detects the driver is under fatigue driving, it will send a warning signal immediately to the driver.
Under certain circumstances, a driver is likely to fall asleep suddenly due to fatigued driving; the early warning system will make a sharp and loud sound to awake the driver at that critical time, which is the other very important function of this system.
FEATURES
• Supports IPC resolution 720P & 1080P
• Supports 940 supplement light
• IP54 water proof and dust proof design
• Driver calling detection alarm
• Driver smoking detection alarm
• Driver fatigue driving alarm
• Driver abnormal alarm
• Working stably in various environment

ADAS, AN IMPORTANT ADDITION
In the early stages, ADAS functioned by using passive alarms. As the science and technology advanced, ADAS is now able to take preventative precautions, thus further preserving driver safety. In order to lower the accident rate, ADAS technology may be a standard implementation for vehicles in the near future.
After years of exploration and investment, remarkable achievements in ADAS technology has been made, and supports a comprehensive suite of ADAS functions: forward collision warning, headway monitoring warning, urban forward collision warning, lane departure warning and pedestrian collision warning.

1.Forward Collision Warning
The forward collision warning (also known as FCW) system determines potential risks by sensing and calculating the
relative headway distance between the user vehicle and the vehicle ahead, as well as calculating the relative speed
of the vehicle when it is driving at a higher speed. Forward collision warnings are given once the potential collision
risk is detected.
2.Headway Monitoring Warning
The headway monitoring warning (also known as HMW) system monitors headway time by sensing and calculating
the headway distance between the user vehicle and the vehicle ahead, as well as calculating the absolute speed of
the vehicle in real time. When the headway time (the unit is in seconds) is less than the threshold alarm time configured
in the system, an alarm will be immediately generated for the driver, reminding him to maintain a safe following
distance and ultimately avoid a rear-end collision
3.Urban Forward Collision Warning
The urban forward collision warning (also known as UFCW) system predicts possible low-speed collisions by calculating
the headway distance between the user vehicle and the vehicle ahead, as well as by calculating the speed in real
time when the vehicle is driving at a low speed (UFCW usually works when the speed ranges from 0 to 30 km/h). An
alarm is immediately generated once an imminent low-speed collision is detected.
4.Lane Departure Warning
The lane departure warning (also known as LDW) system senses road conditions ahead via the ADAS algorithm, then
determines whether or not there is a lane departure and promptly sends a warning to the driver. The lane departure
warning is given to the driver when he departs from the original lane unconsciously (without using the turn signal),
thereby preventing possible traffic accidents resulting from sudden lane departure.
5.Pedestrian Collision Warning
The pedestrian collision warning (also known as PCW) system detects pedestrians and riders in front of the user vehicle.
The system makes comprehensive decisions according to vehicle speed and the distance between the vehicle and
detected pedestrians, then provides an alarm to drivers immediately if there is a high potential for a crash, thereby
preventing possible pedestrian collisions.
